Micronized talc for paints
Micronized talc for paints and varnishes has a hydrophobic surface; the particles have a layered shape (macro- or microcrystalline) and can contain different types of minerals. We produce micronized talc for paint production with a high coverage power and easy dispersion.
As a functional component, talc optimizes the performance of decorative and industrial paints, ensuring brilliance and colour uniformity, surface adherence, protection, and resistance to corrosion.
Talc for plastics
In the field of plastics, micronized talc is used in many production applications, from automotive components and household appliances to food packaging (yogurt pots and freshness seals), from window frames to polypropylene containers. This is because talc is exceptionally resistant to scratches, shocks, abrasions, and deformations.
Micronized talc is also used in the production of WPC as it reduces water absorption and improves material shrinkage and deformation. Talc also improves the elastic modulus and softening temperature.
