Mineral Im.Es.Co. manufactures different types of talc for pharmaceutical and cosmetic use in compliance with current regulations for these application sectors.
Due to their particular purpose, the pharmaceutical and cosmetic talc we produce has a high purity, whiteness, and controlled bacteria concentration.
Manufacturing standards
At Mineral Im.Es.Co., we produce pharmaceutical and cosmetic talc carefully following the manufacturing standards contained in the monographs and tables of official pharmacopoeias in order to continuously guarantee pure, safe products. Naturally occurring bacterial concentrations are removed following the manufacturing process so that the talc does not undergo further manipulation after decontamination. Each talc has a specific particle size suitable for individual applications and is supplied both in paper bags on pallets and in large bags on pallets.
Types of talc
We produce CBC FU ES-D and CBC talc, both with a high purity index and controlled bacterial concentration of less than 100 cfu/g. CBC FU ES-D talc complies with Ph. Eur. specifications and has a high degree of whiteness. CBC talc, intended for the cosmetic sector, has a high brightness index.
